Does a CZ 75 Compact holster fit the full-size 75B?
No. The Compact has a shorter grip and slide, and a holster cut for it will sit loose or fail to cover the muzzle fully on the standard 75B. Match the holster to the exact model, 75B, 75 Compact, or P-01, rather than assuming CZ 75 parts are interchangeable across the line.
Why does the CZ 75's slide sit inside the frame rather than on top of it?
It's the design's signature feature: the frame rails extend up around the slide instead of the slide riding on top, which lowers the bore axis and is part of why the 75 is known for controllable recoil. It also means the gun sits slightly differently in a holster than a Glock or M&P, which is why a purpose-molded kydex holster matters more here.
Does the 75B have an accessory rail for a light?
No, the classic 75B predates rail-equipped frames. The CZ 75 SP-01 and P-09 add an accessory rail if a weapon light is a priority; the 75B itself is built around a duty holster and a good flashlight in the support hand instead.
